FIFTEEN FIFTEEN BY OLE SCHEEREN, A NEW TYPOLOGY FOR URBAN LIVING

interior images of ole scheeren‘s first residential development in north america have been revealed ahead of apartment pre-sales this fall. named ‘fifteen fifteen’, the luxury high-rise will be located on alberni street in the coal harbour neighborhood of vancouver, canada. 

with fifteen fifteen, ole scheeren wants to introduce the concept of horizontal living within a slender skyscraper. the idea of creating a high-rise that engages with both the city and nature has resulted in a jenga-like form composed of stacked horizontal volumes. the architect explains, ‘born from an idea of three-dimensional living, fifteen fifteen’s strong sculptural form introduces horizontality to an urban tower. its distinctive silhouette flows from the idea of activation. fifteen fifteen is about connectivity — connecting people to each other and to their surroundings — and offers an interactive way of living.’

LUXURIOUS RESIDENCES AND AMENITIES

the residential program comprises 202 condominiums ranging from 45 sqm studio apartments to multi-level penthouses. there’s also a host of onsite amenities including a wellness center on level 4 complete with gym and yoga studio, valet parking, a ground level café, and a landscaped plaza. there’s also a double-height lounge for inhabitants on level 29 that cantilevers out toward 270-degree panoramas, and a private dining room and bar area that residents can reserve for intimate dinners or cocktail parties.
