Offsite, Philadelphia’s newest collaborative workspace housed within the Fitler Club, has announced the launch of a new arts program. Art @ Offsite comprises dual initiatives to promote a diverse community of civically engaged and philanthropic leaders. The program also includes an artists-in-residence collective that will feature 19 artists for 12 to 24 months.
Philadelphia Spotlight will launch in partnership with Philadelphia Contemporary, a nonprofit contemporary art institution in the city. The art pop-up concept will aim to establish a permanent home for the organization in West Philadelphia, curating two annual exhibitions at Offsite. The program’s inaugural exhibition will feature work from mixed media artist Leroy Johnson.
